S2THEH Graphic Design is a small and personal creative media solutions company founded on the principle of creating sweet stuff at an affordable price. Owned and operated by Shane Hernandez, S2THEH is fueled by badass design and comprised of top-notch thrill-seeking creatives who are all in quest of liberating the world from bad design. The essence of my personality is creativity. I am a child of the computer era and I feel at home when I have a brilliant monitor in front of me. I know design, and I know it well. I have years of professional graphic design experience along with the portfolio, credentials and cliental to back it up.

Currently, I am a freelance graphic designer/business owner developing an array of mixed media for various clients throughout California and Michigan. Projects are varying from small business websites to personal business cards and practically everything in between. Previously, I was the Art Director for Suzuki Music, a multi-million dollar corporation located in San Diego, California. Working in-house, I oversaw the production of all print collateral, package design, product photography, image manipulation, web design and web maintenance. In addition, I have been a part-time telecommuting freelance designer for several stores in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and prior to that I worked within the design team for Central Michigan University’s leading IT company for several years. Working for CMU as a “web artist,” I was primarily responsible for managing large-scale university web sites and producing graphics for various university programs and on-campus organizations. These experiences have encompassed nearly all means of production and have provided the opportunity to work closely with the client to make seamless solutions that ‘work.’

Backed up with a recently earned Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, I am familiar with all the latest design tools and applications for producing both web and print materials along with the complex realm of motion design. Although I continue to learn and grow everyday, my university experience has been an information gateway that has kept me up-to-date with design trends and industry standards.

With bad design all around us, it's hard not to breathe it in. But don't inhale. Other people's design problems are just that- other people's design problems. We thrive off of extinguishing poor design practices and embellishing sweet new designs. That's why we're here. That's why I wrote this. That's why I do what I do: To create sweet stuff.
